The Eagle Trace House is located in Coral Springs FL. The design intent was to create an open floor plan with views opening out onto the pool deck and the adjoining golf course beyond. A notable feature of the house is the partially roof covered pool deck and lap pool. The house also has open pitched ceilings with interior soffits just above the window frames which continue out to large exterior roof overhangs emphasizing the view to the exterior. The interior soffit also house up-lights and recessed down light, the up-lights providing indirect lighting off of the ceiling. The entry door is framed with natural coral stone with a glass block surround. Coral stone is also used for the fireplace which divides the billiards room from the living room and for the planter walls on the exterior. The fireplace opening to both sides. Mitered glass corners were used in the living room to open the room visually to the pool deck.
