A number years ago I picked up an Adirondack Chair at a yard sale. Using this rustic chair as inspiration I decided to do “a variation on a theme” and abstracted the design down into a suite of chairs and a table I call the Gulfstream Series (lounge, high stool, arm & side chairs & table base). Reclaimed pine was the material used for the pictured chairs, other than the Whole Foods Market café chairs. The side chairs were used in the Whole Foods Market store in Sarasota Florida using bamboo plywood and were “beefed up” a bit to meet required commercial use needs.
